Aneros MGX Review
The Aneros MGX was the first prostate massager that I used. I will admit when I first got it I was a little nervous to stick it in as I had never engaged in any type of anal or prostate stimulation at that point. After reading the instructions and inserting it I will admit, while it was an odd sensation, I could not really feel anything.
I tried several positions and tried to contract my PC muscles which I had never heard of before. These are the muscles that you use when stopping your stream when urinating. After a few more sessions I could definitely start to feel a difference but nothing close to the famed super-o.
I decided to do some more research and came across several posts of guys having the same issue due to the small size of the MGX. I am a fairly large guy and my guess is that the MGX was not large enough to put much pressure on my prostate. After about another month with limited results I decided to purchase the Aneros Helix for which you can read my review. I greatly enjoy the Helix and it is one of my favorite prostate massagers.
Based on my experience I give the MGX 7.5 stars and I recommend it for smaller users or for those who want to experiment with prostate massage and are not ready to experiment with larger toys.
The Helix is awesome. I own an MGX, Progasm (clear), and Helix, and the Helix beats the other two, no qtieuson. The MGX is OK, and good as a starter for new users. The Progasm is probably better for more experienced users as it is, simply, huge. And right between those two is the Helix. The Helix shape is much more aggressive than the MGX, and much quicker and easier to get you to the high-point, without leaving you feeling like you sat on a fence post like the Progasm does. It takes a while to build the muscles up to the point where the Helix works best I’ve had mine for 3 weeks and am just getting there. The Helix does have some peculiarities, most notably a smaller neck than the MGX. At first, it felt like it was going to slip out, but I soon realized that it will slide out about an inch, but that’s it. And it’s the sliding action that really puts the head of the Helix where it counts.For anyone interested in prostate stim, you can’t go wrong with the Helix. It will totally rock your world.

Ive had the same problem, just doesnt give me the effect Ive seen on demo video’s.
Great design, but just doesnt quiet reach, think I will get a larger one as well..Thanks for teh tip.
I love the Aneros MGX and it remains one of my favorite toys. After several months I had a super-o with this one so it gets a 10 out of 10 just for that!
My experience with the MGX was a little different. It is the only one of these that I own but it works good for me.
